Shalom my precious friends and family!
Wow…how the time keeps flying by! I realized as much as I had written an update awhile ago, I kept forgetting to actually publish it, as I wasn’t in a place where I could upload it when I first wrote it…and before you know it, we are already almost into April, and it’s totally outdated…again! For this, I am really sorry! But for all those who are wondering if I am still alive and doing alright, yes I am!!! I am absolutely amazed at all God continues to do in my life, all He continues to teach me, and just thank Him constantly for this amazing time He has so richly blessed me with!
The past months have found me busy serving, thoroughly enjoying my time here, and thanking Him for each new day He blesses me with! I was also greatly blessed with another extension to my visa for yet another year, for which we are praising Him for each new day He gives us!
The past couple of months have also found us saying goodbye to a couple of our precious residents, one of which was my adopted mom here in Israel. Heaven surely got a beloved treasure and there isn’t a day that passes by, that she isn’t extremely missed!! It’s still hard to believe that she is truly no longer with us and I so look forward to the day when we are reunited in His Kingdom once again! But in the meantime, I treasure each memory we made, each lesson she passed down to me, and each prayer! She taught me sooooo much and was truly an amazing woman of faith and prayer!!!
We have also gained another resident and soon to welcome yet another, for which we pray they will be greatly blessed and encouraged being here! It’s such a blessing being able to serve and care for each of them!! What a gift and a privilege we have been given and we ask for your continued prayers, especially for the Nursing Ward Project that we are in the process of raising funds for and working towards accomplishing, as we are in desperate need of this! With each passing day it becomes more and more evident of this growing need, as our residents become older and the needs grow. I ask that you please keep this in prayer and seriously pray about helping us raise the funds needed, so that we can continue to meet the needs of these precious older saints! I’ve enclosed a .pdf document and ask that you please take a minute and spread the word! With His help (and yours!) we press towards the goal and vision He has given us and look forward to watching how He provides a way for us to accomplish this goal!
In the next update I will try to share our volunteer’s trip to Banias and our kayak trip down the Jordan, including pictures of the unbelievable landscape He has given us to enjoy!!!
Until then, may He richly bless you all and draw you all closer to Himself!
In His love,
