Here are some links to some wonderful resources that I think you will all enjoy! Please do realize that we do not necessarily endorse everything that these sites/resources may believe or teach. I am including them here because I have found some encouragement and helpful things through them. But remember, like everyone in life (including me!), they are human and we must prove what is “good and acceptable in the sight of Yahweh” via the Word of Yahweh. If you use them along side of the Word and not in place of it, I think you will be very much blessed! 🙂

Godly Daughterhood Books and Resources

So Much More by Anna Sophia and Elizabeth Botkin – This is a really wonderful book that has so challenged and encouraged me…as well as changed me! I would HIGHLY recommend that every daughter read this book! It will amaze you and open your eyes to so many truths about feminism and how we as daughters are supposed to be like. It is SOOOO worth every penny!

His Chosen Bride by Jennifer Lamp – This is another wonderful and Godly resource! It is all about applying Proverbs 31 to the lives of us as singles. It has some very practical and wonderful ideas and helps, as well as so much! It will challenge you to new depths as you apply these truths to your own life.

Fascinating Womanhood by Helen Andelin – I can’t say enough about this book! Although written for married women, this book can certainly be applied to both unmarried and married a like! You will all find this book a rare treasure to be sure! Don’t pass it up!

Note: Although I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this book, I would not recommend the one for girls.

The Modesty Survey by the Alex and Bret Harris – This is again an amazing resource!! Please, take a minute and just go over these questions and answers. Girls, I think this will open your eyes to a lot of things concerning modesty and what guys really think about what you are wearing!

Courtship/Betrothal/Purity Resources

Courtship and Engagement/betrothal Stories – This site has really blessed me, as it showed me that Yahweh can bring two people together! He doesn’t need our help to do it. As long as we are serving Him, He will bring the right man along to us, in His perfect time. Enjoy reading these stories and may they all richly bless your life and encourage you to keep standing for Him! Don’t compromise, my girls!

Boy Meets Girl: Say Hello to Courtship by Joshua Harris – This book was a great resource and I would highly recommend it for someone getting ready or has already, entered into courtship. So often we feel that since we are born again believers, we don’t have to worry about the pitfalls that the lost have to worry about. The truth is, Girls, we are all human! We don’t have some special force that keeps us from all temptations. We must put walls of protection up in our lives to prevent the falls, knowing that we too, will be tempted. I also loved this book because it talked about courting with purpose, which I believe is very important. All in all, I was extremely blessed because of this book and I think you will be, too!

Before You Meet Prince Charming by Sara Mally – This guide to radiant purity combines the thoughts and events in the life of a young princess with solid, clear teaching of Biblical convictions that young ladies today need to grasp. Through a captivating fairy tale, modern day examples, practical instruction and abundant humor, Sarah Mally challenges young ladies to turn to the Lord for fulfillment, to guard their hearts and minds, to identify and avoid the world’s thinking and to shine brightly in this generation.

This book offers biblical answers to everyday questions and deep life struggles. It includes many practical tips for girls such as how to guard your heart when you have a crush, being wise in Internet usage, how to strengthen relationships with parents, and how to use your single years wisely.

Emotional Purity: An Affair of the Heart by Heather Paulsen – This is a book about emotional purity. It talks about how it isn’t just important to guard our “bodies”, but that it is just as important that we guard our “hearts” and “minds”.

Preparing for Marriage/Marriage Books and Resources

Fascinating Womanhood by Helen Andelin – I can’t say enough about this book! Although written for married women, this book can certainly be applied to both unmarried and married a like! You will all find this book a rare treasure to be sure! Don’t pass it up!

Note: Although I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this book, I would not recommend the one for girls.

Preparing to be a Helpmeet by Debi Pearl – Although I do not agree with a lot of their doctrinal stand, I have to say that this book has been a huge encouragement to me! She has outdone herself with this book and I think all of you would be deeply inspired and encouraged by this book! There are a lot of truths in this book and I would say even for my married sisters, you will be very much encouraged and inspired by this book! I have read both and this one is by far my favorite for both married and single alike.

Modest Clothing

Tznius – This is an Israeli company that has some wonderful skirts! They also have some beautiful head coverings for those of you who wear them.

Modest World – Although I have never bought anything from them, they do offer some long skirts. 🙂

Website/Blog Designers

I couldn’t resist placing a link to Prairie Rose Designs, the company that designed this site (although I have switched over to another site since then, but I kept her design as much as possible). Girls, if any of you have a site that you would like professionally done, she is the person to do it! She was FANTASTIC to work with and as you can see, she does an amazing job! Not only that, but she is VERY reasonably priced, too! I couldn’t be more thrilled with the results and I would highly recommend others using her, too!

Continue living your life for our heavenly Father Samantha, and He will continue to do beautiful, and wonderful things in your life. I miss you, a lot, big sis. Hello Samantha – have you ever read the little book titled “Daughters of Sarah” by Genevieve White? This is the only book I feel comfortable recommending to other women in regards to learning more fully about submission. A great book for wives, single sisters or daughters. I am a single sister and this book continues to be a great encouragement to me.

If you are interested, I have some quotes from this book on my blog under the label: “Daughters of Sarah”.
